Michele Martinez is a councilwoman of Santa Ana, California. She is a registered Democrat. Martinez was elected to the city council in November 2006 and re-elected in November 2010, serving the city's second ward. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton, and is a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana, and for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. She was nominated as the Emerging Latina of the Year in 2007 by the National Latina Business Women Association, and also received the Hispanic Influential award by the United Way of Orange County. Martinez ran for mayor in 2008, but was defeated by incumbent Miguel Pulido. During her campaign, Martinez was the subject of personal attacks by Pulido, mainly referencing her past as a drug dealer and member of the F-Troop gang, which claims territory in Santa Ana. Martinez ran for the California State Assembly District 39 in 2012, but failed to advance past the primaries. Despite his attacks on Martinez four years prior, mayor Miguel Pulido endorsed her. Martinez is director of the Alliance for a Healthy Orange County (AHOC). ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Michele Martinez」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
